New Delhi, Sep 24: Libas, one of India’s Indian fashion brands, has forayed into the jewellery category, marking a strategic expansion of its business beyond apparel. The move comes as the brand continues to broaden its product portfolio and build a larger presence across India’s fashion and lifestyle market.

The new jewellery portfolio comprises 100+ styles priced between ₹399 and ₹1,299, spanning jewellery sets, mangalsutras, necklaces and chains, bangles and earrings. Focused on festive and wedding consumption, the collection brings together gold-plated, silver-plated and oxidised jewellery, with an anti-tarnish finish as a key product proposition.
The category is currently available across Libas’ website, app and leading marketplaces, with plans to subsequently launch the collection across its exclusive brand outlets. The phased rollout will enable Libas to leverage its existing digital reach while building the category across its growing physical retail footprint.
For Libas, the entry into jewellery represents a deliberate portfolio expansion aimed at creating new avenues of business and increasing the brand’s participation in consumer spending around fashion and occasions. With jewellery playing a significant role in festive and wedding dressing, the category gives Libas an opportunity to serve a broader set of consumer needs while building on its established understanding of the Indian consumer.
The move also marks another step in Libas’ evolution into a broader fashion business with multiple category opportunities. Having recently expanded into fragrances, the brand is steadily widening the scope of its offering and building capabilities across categories that are closely connected to its core consumer and fashion proposition.
Sidhant Keshwani, Founder & CEO, Libas, said,
“Libas has always been built around a deep understanding of the Indian consumer and how fashion is evolving across occasions. Our entry into jewellery is a natural progression of that vision, but more importantly, it reflects our ambition to build Libas as a larger fashion business. As we expand into new categories, our focus will remain on creating strong consumer relevance while building businesses that can scale over the long term.”
The jewellery foray reflects Libas’ larger ambition to build scale beyond a single-category business and establish a stronger presence across the Indian fashion market. As the company continues to expand its digital and retail footprint, it will focus on building new categories that can contribute to long-term business growth and strengthen its relationship with consumers.
